Classroom Schedules

Preschool Classroom Schedule:

9:00 –9:10 Arrival
9:10- 9:30 Group time. Greeting, stretching, singing, calendar, presentation of new lessons
9:30-11:00 Work time. Children work individually, with a friend, or in small groups, choosing activities from the materials available on the shelves. Teachers give individual and small group lessons.
11:00-11:20 Group time. Literature, storytelling, music, drama, movement.
11:20-11:30 Preparation for going outside.
11:30-12:00 Recess. Playground. Big motor activity indoors in cases of inclement weather.
12:00-12:10 Departure
12:00-1:00 Optional Lunch Bunch. Pick up between 12:50 and 1:00.
